Silent Hill f just showed how one single graphics setting can completely change the vibe of the game. A dull, washed-out hallway instantly turned into a terrifying, gritty horror scene the moment I switched the lumen setting to epic. The transformation is unreal, and it feels like the entire genre of the game shifted in front of my eyes.

Silent hill F was a big waste of money. Honestly I have no idea how it didn’t flop.
The story is lame, the characters are annoying, the combat is boring and the levels are disgustingly repetitive .
I’d rank it one of the worst games I’ve ever played.
It’s not like Konami has an engine specifically designed to be very visually appealing while being light on performance or anything, nah just use UE5 so that your work force can be replaced more easily

It has more to do with light occlusion (which is a basic lighting feature nowadays) being disabled in the 1st part of the video than with Lumen.
My dad is super particular about video game settings and tv color settings, so the second he opened up the silent hill 2 remake (for me to play) he optimized it to be the most horrifying experience possible. 10/10, fix ur lighting guys
