Freak incident whereby a Spanish Air Force F/A-18 Hornet demo jet makes an inverted pass, almost rolling, but the pilot turns back (something which I’ve never seen before) leveling out, loosing a ton of altitude, before lumping on the power and catching some lift last second, in the Nic of time! Making for a remarkable and spectacular recovery maneuver just feet over the sea at Gijon airshow 2025 on the 27th July 2025.

Throwing up too fast and probably caught the aircraft by surprise and it got too much airflow over one ring and flipped over. He tried to regain control and fortunately worked I think.

Nearly stacked that into the beech. Displays should be laterally off the shore. In the uk I believe they are only solid offshore since the Shoreham disaster
